Eric LeGrand Bourbon, the liquor company that was co-founded by former Scarlet Knights’ football player and Rutgers legend Eric LeGrand, has released a new bourbon in collaboration with the university.
The Scarlet Knight Series is a limited edition bourbon release that celebrates Rutgers and the community. Eric LeGrand Bourbon was the first spirits company to sponsor Rutgers Athletics.
The bourbon is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that was aged for 5 years and bottled at 92 proof. It comprises a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% barley, aiming to capture the fighting spirit of Rutgers University. On the nose, it offers notes of caramel, dark cherry, and toasted oak with a subtle rye spice. Its smooth palate delivers bold fruit, vanilla, and a warm, lingering finish, perfect for sipping or cocktails.

This launch is available in 750ml bottles and has a suggested retail price of $54.99. Bottles can be purchased at select liquor stores in New Jersey, online at ericlegrandwhiskey.com, and at bars and restaurants statewide.
