After a series win against the A’s, the Nats start another series against a below .500 team in a hitter friendly ballpark. Runs should be plentiful for both teams this week at Coors Field. The Rockies offense is much improved from last year, and we all know what the Nats can do at the plate.
With a left handed starter, Blake Butera is making some lineup adjustments. Luis Garcia Jr. will be in there at first base, but he will hit 8th. Andres Chaparro will take the DH duties. Daylen Lile gets the day
off with Dylan Crews in left, Jacob Young in center and James Wood in right. Harry Ford will get another start behind the plate. He will be catching Andrew Alvarez, who makes his first start since the All-Star break.
As mentioned, the Rockies offense has been a lot better this year. Hunter Goodman proved last year was no fluke. Rookies Cole Carrigg and TJ Rumfield have also given the Rockies a spark. Jake McCarthy and Willi Castro have been two good offseason additions for the Rockies new front office. Long time Rockie Kyle Freeland has really struggled this year, and will get the ball tonight.

This is another series that the Nats need to grab if they want to convince Paul Toboni to buy. On paper, the offense should feast this week, but baseball is played on the field.
