The initial injury report for the Wake Forest game has been released, and Louisville has plenty of contributors on the list.
Antonio Watts is listed as doubtful for the game, while Tayon Holloway is questionable. That puts the Cards in jeopardy of not having two starters for the noon start.
The remainder of the contributors for the Cards are listed as probable. Last week, each of the players listed with this status ended up playing against SMU.
Tye Clark, Wake Forest’s starting running back, is not
listed on the report. His status was up in the air after exiting Wake’s last game after taking a big hit.
The most notable name on the list is Gio Lopez for Wake Forest. He is listed as questionable after taking a lot of hits against Miami last week. If he can’t go, the Deacs will have to go with Steve Pizzella, who has attempted four passes in his career.
