Bayern, Chelsea, United to battle for Vlahović? (ESPN)
If Bayern Munich is truly going to make an attempt to ink Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović, it might have to outbid Chelsea FC and Manchester United:
A race between Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United is underway for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. It is reported that the 25-year-old could leave the Bianconeri in January following the form of Canada international Jonathan David, with the Serie A side ready to make him their long-term starter. While the Bundesliga
champions recently made an enquiry for Vlahovic, the Premier League clubs are believed to be in the lead for him. He has made two starts in Serie A so far this season.
Bayern Munich’s interest in Vlahović will likely depend upon what happens with striker Harry Kane. With a decision on Kane’s future expected (or even required) in January, Bayern Munich could act quickly on Vlahović if it needs to.
Looking back: Bayern’s interest in Franculino Djú last summer (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)
During the summer transfer window, Bayern Munich was reportedly interested in FC Midtjylland’s Franculino Djú. Here is what happened with that pursuit:
It’s true that Bayern were interested in FC Midtjylland’s Franculino Djú. He would have been a cheaper option. I heard this was the idea of Christoph Freund, the director of sport, who works under Max Eberl. He was working for Salzburg, and he has an idea about how to develop this kind of player. In the end, it was the price – about €20m-25m [£17.4m-21.8m] – they talked about. But at this point, the bosses on Bayern’s supervisory board made it clear that the club was only allowed to commit to loan deals. Midtjylland didn’t want a loan, they wanted to sell him – so then the transfer talks were over.

Musiala misses his teammates and the daily grind (Sport Bild via @iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is working hard on his rehab, but the youngster recently admitted that he is missing being a part of the everyday activities with his teammates. When asked what he missed most, Musiala offered up quite a statement.
“Quite simply, the team. The spirit among us. This feeling, not just on the pitch: on the bus, in the hotel, while traveling. The fun with Michael Olise, the jokes of Jo Kimmich. I’m missing what is normally a big part of my life now. I’ll enjoy it even more when I’m back,” Musiala noted.
Rummenigge spoke again about Wirtz (Abendzeitung’s Maximilian Koch via @iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich recently spoke to Sport Bild about missing on Florian Wirtz, but the club legend also had some thoughts on Wirtz that he detailed to Abendzeitung’s Maximilian Koch.
“Florian Wirtz would have been a great fit for FC Bayern. And I also believe it would have been better for him personally if he had made the move to Munich rather than Liverpool. We respect his decision, but I regret it a bit because he would have fit exactly into FC Bayern’s strategy — we always want to sign the best German players. Maybe he’ll reconsider at some point,” said Rummenigge.

Kompany expects big things from Olise (@iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany thinks that winger Michael Olise has not reached his full potential just yet.
“I expect him to get even better and take further steps. I’ve often witnessed the development of such talents, like Kevin De Bruyne for example, whom I like to compare him to. The most important thing is what they do every day in training. I see total calm in Michael. He’s here because he wants to get even better. He’s won something for the first time now, but now he has to keep going. I hope he can take even further steps and that the Bayern fans will enjoy him for a long time,” said Kompany.
United eyeing Bellingham (ESPN)
Manchester United could be planning to make a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Jobe Bellingham and his problem parents:
Manchester United are keeping close tabs on the situation of midfielder Jobe Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund, according to TEAMtalk. Despite only signing in the summer, it is reported that the 20-year-old is now weighing up his options following “heated exchanges” with manager Niko Kovac, and dressing-room issues with his father, and could look to push for a move away in January. United are reported to see his technical ability and physicality as two factors that could improve their midfield, but there could be competition from Crystal Palace. Bellingham has been named on the bench in five of the last six matches.
