Bisseck is legit target for Bayern (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)
Rumors have been out there for a bit regarding Bayern Munich’s interest in Inter Milan center-back Yann Bisseck and Sport Bild’s Christian Falk says there is a possibility that the Bavarians could get more serious about a pursuit:
Bayern Munich’s preference is to always go for the German guy where applicable. They love having German players in the squad. They want to be the German Bavarian national team! They have a sign from Yann Bisseck’s side that he would love to play for Bayern in the future.
FC Bayern already made a call to Inter Milan to ask about the potential fee. So, you see, there is something in the air, but they have to first sell. So let’s see what happens with Min-jae Kim first.
As Falk says, a lot will depend on what happens with players like Kim Min-jae and Hiroki Itō. Should one or both of those players move, Bayern Munich could spring into action for Bisseck or another center-back.
Real could try to lure Haaland…again (ESPN)
Another summer, another rumor of Real Madrid wanting to bring Erling Haaland to Spain:
Real Madrid have Manchester City striker Erling Haaland on their radar, as Sport reports that club president Florentino Perez has outlined the 25-year-old as a potential signing should they part ways with winger Vinícius Júnior, who will enter the final year of his contract at the Bernabéu next week. Haaland, 25, has four goals in two games for Norway at the World Cup, and his City contract runs until 2033, so any transfer would cost upwards of €200 million. Los Blancos also maintain interest in Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise and could make a move for him after the World Cup.
Haaland’s future will be one to watch.
Leverkusen willing to sell Grimaldo (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
Bayer Leverkusen seems like it could be opening up to a sale of Alejandro Grimaldo:
⏳🚨 Bayer 04 Leverkusen are willing to sell Alejandro #Grimaldo and are already working on a replacement.
Initial asking price is €30m as reported. An agreement from around €25m upwards cannot be ruled out.
Leverkusen do not want to block the move. Grimaldo wants to leave and already has a full agreement in place with Atletico Madrid.
Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing. @SkySportDE
Brighton still pushing for Vušković (ESPN)
Brighton & Hove Albion is still trying to get Tottenham Hotspur to part ways with Luka Vušković:
Brighton & Hove Albion are pushing to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Luka Vuskovic and have submitted a new bid worth £42 million plus £3 million in add-ons, according to Sky Sports. The 19-year-old centre-back is reported to be keen on the move as he looks for more regular first-team football. Brighton and Spurs remain in negotiations over the deal, with the Seagulls hopeful of reaching an agreement for one of Europe’s most highly rated young defenders. Vuskovic would likely join Brighton as Jan Paul van Hecke’s direct replacement, who moved in the opposite direction earlier this week.
Vušković’s future could be determined after the World Cup. The youngster did not play in Croatia’s 1-0 victory over Panama on Tuesday.
Leipzig rejects LFC, wants to keep Diomande (Sky Germany’s Philipp Hinze)
RB Leipzig has reportedly rejected Liverpool’s bid for Yan Diomande:
🔴 Leipzig have rejected Liverpool’s €100m package without setting a clear asking price. Internally, Leipzig remain firm in their desire to keep the player for at least one more season. Only an offer significantly above €100m, could persuade Leipzig to change their stance.
The internal thinking is: no release clause, a rising market value, 19 y/o and a long-term contract in place. The player is not untouchable, but that is precisely why they are setting the price so high. As things stand, there has been no new offer from Liverpool yet. There has also been no offer from PSG. It’s a very dynamic situation.
At the same time, discussions are ongoing with the player’s representatives regarding a salary increase and an adjusted contract. @SkySportDE
Gunners hoping Three Lions players will convince Rogers to make move (ESPN)
Arsenal would like its players on the English national team to try to work over Morgan Rogers to make the move from Aston Villa to the Gunners:
Arsenal are hopeful that the club’s players in England’s World Cup squad can help persuade Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers to join them at the Emirates, according to The Daily Mail. Arsenal have made signing the 23-year-old a top priority for the summer, but face competition from Chelsea, with both clubs willing to offer a fee of £85 million, so have asked Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke to help. Villa need to offload players to ensure they meet financial regulations, but Rogers would be a huge loss for them.
