Kendry Páez is off to a fine start to life at RC Strasbourg, with the Chelsea loanee not only earning a nomination, but winning the league’s young player of the month award for September. Congrats!
A Chelsea player winning Ligue 1 Young Player of the Month? It is known.
Kendry’s numbers aren’t exactly eye-popping — just one goal in seven Ligue 1 appearances — but his play in general has evidently warranted this recognition anyway. The 18-year-old has been deployed mostly in a central attacking role,
starting three league games thus far.
The youngster made a great first impression on head coach Liam Rosenior in the summer, and he’s kept going in a similar vein since.
“Kendry is a young lad with a gift. He’s an extremely talented player who has quickly adapted. But what I want to highlight is the way he has integrated into the group and the way he works to be at the top level. He has a remarkable attitude.”

Keep it up, kid!
