Now that Alex Pereira’s coach Plinio Cruz has beaten Chase DeMoor’s coach at last night’s Misfits Boxing: Essex vs. Dapper boxing event, he wants to keep fighting and finally get his mitts on DeMoor himself.
Cruz and DeMoor have been scheduled to fight twice, and both fights were canceled. This latest cancellation was especially sus: DeMoor pulled out just days before the fight claiming an eye injury. His coach Gary Olive bravely stepped in and got absolutely bodied over four minutes of fighting,
going to a knee and getting counted out for a Cruz second round TKO win (highlights here).
Cruz called for another DeMoor booking after his win.
“Pinocchio because he lies and his nose grows,” Plinio said in the ring. “First of all, props to Gary he boxes better than Chase. He didn’t have the balls to be in his coach’s corner. What kind of champ is that, he can’t even back up his family.”
“Daddy’s going to show you what a real man is about,” he continued. “You don’t have boxing skills. You don’t have swag. You don’t have no mojo. Come here bro, I’m going to whup your f–king ass. Chama!”
DeMoor wasn’t at the Misfits Boxing event but did message Cruz following the fight … leading Cruz to post images of their back and forth on X (formerly Twitter).
“I’m embarassed for you,” DeMoor wrote. “But good fight I guess.”
“You’re a loud ass p–sy,” Cruz replied. “Come fight then, stop hiding behind a video with make up on your face, be a man at least once in your life and come fight me.”
He then unleashed a pretty epic roast on DeMoor.
“The internet already hates you,” he wrote. “Come fight before I end up burying your name for good before you even fight anybody else. But since I already heard that you’re dodging me to fight a fat 70 year old man, I’m not gonna give you no more clout or hype. Tonight in 4 minutes of fighting I got more hype than you got in your entire career on Misfits, and more clout than you got in your season of Grindr Island.”
“Your time is up, Pinocchio. NO CHAMA.”
DeMoor beating up Andrew Tate earned him a lot of brownie points from us, but we’re not sure he’ll be interested in fighting Cruz after seeing what the Pereira coach did to his coach. Cruz’s natural s–t talking ability across fight week and beyond was pretty intimidating as well. We’d love to be proven wrong and see DeMoor fight Cruz. Whatever happens, we’ll be paying attention no matter who Plinio Cruz fights.
