We have finally arrived for game week between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Miami Hurricanes. Notre Dame is currently ranked #6 in the country and primed for a huge season, a playoff run, and possibly its 23rd football national championship.
The Irish will be breaking in a new quarterback as they travel to Miami to rake on the Canes. The new quarterback, CJ Carr, will have a lot on his shoulders as the Irish will undoubtedly face a very hostile crowd inside Hard Rock Stadium.
He also might be facing
some weather that Saline, Michigan, hasn’t quite seen. But — more on that in just a moment.
As of today, the weather forecast is wet, humid, and hot for all of you that are traveling to the game.

As for the game itself, a 7:30 schedule time on ABC, it’s predicted to be a little bit dryer and a little bit cooler (but still like a sauna).

None of that is out of the ordinary for late August in Miami — but neither is it out of the ordinary for a hurricane to appear. As of right now, tropical storm Fernand is in the Atlantic Ocean, and of course there’s a chance this could get nasty and affect the game.
Obviously this is a “wait and see” situation and we will update accordingly.
