We all know why Klint Kubiak was hired as the Las Vegas Raiders’ head coach after the events of the 2025 NFL season.
The Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl last season in large part because of the work Kubiak did as their offensive coordinator. Meanwhile, the las Vegas Raiders fired Pete Carroll and most of his staff after a 3-14 season that resulted in the team getting the No. 1 overall draft pick. The Raiders’ offense was a disater all season.
So, enter Kubiak to give the Raiders’ offense a jolt.
A recent X post by NFL analyst Warren Sharp shows how good Seattle’s offense was and how bad the Raiders were. The Seahawks had the fifth most explosive plays in the NFL last year (plays of 15 yards or more). The Raiders, meanwhile, were dead last in the league in generating explosive plays.
With Kubiak in charge, expect the Raiders’ rate of explosive plays to increase in 2026.
