Last week my three bold predictions were off the mark, unlike the previous week when I hit on a solid two of three. Against Baltimore, Derrick Henry didn’t go off and the field wasn’t as big of an issue as many thought. But it was the last one that was the heartbreak. The prediction was that Dallas would win a close one in the end. Oh so close on that one.
This week we are back with three new bold predictions for the Cowboys at Houston Texans game.
The Cowboys are on the road for the game, and they
are 3-point underdogs according to our friends at FanDuel. The over/under is 47.5 points.
On to the predictions.
Donovan Ezeiruaku and Will Anderson Jr get 2 sacks apiece
The Cowboys will finally break through in the sack department with Donovan Ezeiruaku cashing in on two sacks after being so close so many times, and the Cowboys pass rush will finally have a good day. The problem is Will Anderson Jr. will neutralize those sacks with two of his own. QBs beware on Sunday.
Ryan Flournoy breaks out
Back in Week 1 of the season, we predicted that Ryan Flournoy would have a big game with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens drawing all the attention. It didn’t happen then, and Flournoy has been quiet this season. In this game, he goes for over 80+ yards and one touchdown.
Joey Porter Jr. makes a pick
Why not? Newest Dallas Cowboys player Joey Porter Jr. will play significant snaps on Sunday, and not only that, he will snag an interception.
