The game ended in unpleasant fashion but we can still appreciate the effort put in by Terrell Anderson, who had six catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns—all career-highs. In fact, he set a career-high for receiving yards in a game on his very first catch, which went 75 yards. ( His previous career-high was 46 yards against Wake Forest the week prior.)
His best catch was his last one, which set the Pack up inside the five for its final score of the game. It was a tremendous effort sliding backward
along the sideline to snatch the ball off the turf, and without it, NC State might not score to keep itself alive, as it would’ve been 4th and long. Hell of a job there.
If Saturday was an indicator of more to come from Anderson, then NC State’s passing game could still get better. As for everything else, well.
