Good morning, it’s Sunay, January 4th. The Cleveland Cavaliers are 20-16 and have an afternoon game against the Detroit Pistons today.
The Pistons are 25-9, giving them the best record in the Eastern Conference.
Cleveland is 1-0 against the Pistons this season, defeating them 116-95 back in October. Let’s see if they can do it again.
Today’s Game of the Day
- Memphis Grizzlies at Los Angeles Lakers – 9:30 PM, NBA League Pass
Both the Lakers and Grizzlies have dealt with ups and downs this season. But with both teams relatively healthy, there’s more than enough star power to make this game exciting.
Ja Morant is tough to predict. He had 16 points and 11 assists in his previous game against the Lakers and hung 40 points in the game before that. But we all know the roller coaster experience that Ja can bring from night to night.
As for the Lakers, LeBron James and Luka Doncic are looking to gain momentum. LA has lost four of its last six games. Doncic had 34 points in their latest win over the Grizzlies. James contributed 31 points.
