The 2025-26 NBA season has concluded. The NBA Draft is on the way, perhaps reshaping the fortunes of several franchises, almost guaranteed to bust some others.
This is going to be particularly critical in a Western Conference that looks to be dominated by two young teams: the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Today’s discussion question involves the next team, or teams, to take that step. We know who the conference elite are. We know a couple of established teams as well. But which Western
Conference franchises are poised to leap forward in the standings, if not challenging the Spurs and Thunder, at least making them look twice?
