A confident Kingdom
Confidence in Chiefs Kingdom isn’t at the season-high mark it was in Week 3 (98%), but there’s a lot to like about a four-game start that has the Chiefs leading the AFC.

Defensive MVP
Kansas City got off to a hot defensive start this season, dominating the Denver Broncos 31-10 in Week 1. So it makes sense that when we polled our AP fam and asked who you thought the Chiefs’ top defensive player has been through the first four games this season, you voted for the guy whose opening-drive interception kicked off the Broncos beatdown.
Despite leaving the game shortly after, Delane has since returned to the lineup and made his presence known. While Delane may be an elite cover cornerback in time, what sets him apart is his aggression in the run game and the way he approaches each rep like Ray Lewis is his spirit animal.
In second, you voted for George Karlaftis, who shows that living off hard work and insane effort is a heck of a recipe for success.
