Did Perez tell Hainer “In the end, you will have to sell Olise to me”? (Madrid Universal)
This Michael Olise, Real Madrid situation — while not serious at the moment — gets more odd by the day.
If you believe this report, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez told Herbert Hainer that Bayern Munich will eventually have to sell Olise to Los Blancos. Maybe it is utter nonsense, but we at least know the two executives were together recently when Hainer spoke at Real Madrid’s academy graduation ceremonies:
Even when the agenda is purely institutional, transfer speculation tends to follow Florentino
Perez everywhere. That was once again the case when Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer visited the Santiago Bernabeu to attend the Real Madrid university graduation ceremony at the invitation of the club president. While the event itself had no sporting purpose, a brief exchange between the two executives has reignited talk surrounding Michael Olise and Real Madrid’s long-standing admiration for the French winger.
According to El Chiringuito TV, Perez could not resist making his intentions known during their conversation. The Michael Olise Real Madrid rumours have resurfaced after details of the conversation between Perez and Hainer emerged. Real Madrid have been linked with the Bayern Munich attacker for some time and continue to view him as a key addition to an already star-studded squad.
As such, during Hainer’s visit to the Bernabeu, Perez was reportedly heard saying, “In the end, you will have to sell Olise to me.”
Whether the comment was made in jest or carried a direct message remains open to interpretation, but it certainly shows Real Madrid’s admiration for the French international. Reports in recent months have suggested that Los Blancos see Olise as a potential Galactico signing, someone who could strengthen a position that has lacked continuity for several seasons. Despite the continued speculation, both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have publicly distanced themselves from any suggestion that negotiations are taking place.
There is no doubt that Real Madrid wants Olise, but that kind of statement would seem a little bit outrageous even for someone with an ego the size of the one that Perez has.
Milan to get Ramos (ESPN)
The tough part of having a roster as deep and talented as the one that Paris Saint-Germain has is trying to keep everyone happy and, well, just keeping everyone in general. Goncalo Ramos is one of the players potentially looking for an exit and AC Milan might be ready to give him a home:
AC Milan have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over a €74 million deal to sign striker Gonçalo Ramos, according to The Athletic. The transfer is set to be a club-record deal for the Rossoneri and eclipses the previous record, which was €35 million to bring in winger Rafael Leão back in 2019. Ramos, 25, will leave PSG with 45 goals and 10 assists in 131 appearances for the club.
Ter Stegen to Ajax is done per report (Sky Germany Florian Plettenberg)
As of now, it looks like Marc-André ter Stegen is actually headed to Ajax:
🚨💥 Marc-André ter Stegen to Ajax – DONE DEAL ✔️
Agreement in principle now reached between Ter Stegen and Ajax. Only final details remain. Agreement between Ajax and FC Barcelona is in place.
One-year loan deal without an option to buy. If nothing unexpected happens, the medical is scheduled for next week.

Ter Stegen’s career has certainly not gone the way he would have liked in recent years, but this would represent a chance to start fresh.
Everton to get Delap? (ESPN)
Everton could have the inside track on getting Chelsea center-forward Liam Delap:
Everton are in pole position to land Chelsea striker Liam Delap on a permanent deal this summer, Football Insider reports. The Toffees have submitted an initial offer as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season. Delap is wanted by several other Premier League clubs after being deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, but Everton remain confident after moving early in the race to secure his signature.
Bayern felt pressure to keep Brown away from England (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)
Bayern Munich announced the signing of Nathaniel Brown on Friday, but it seems a little hard to believe one part of this report from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk.
The German journalist is reporting that one reason Bayern Munich felt compelled to sign Brown (despite already having Alphonso Davies) was to keep him away from England:
✅ It is TRUE: Alphonso Davies is working with a personal trainer to develop more consistent fitness levels for Bayern Munich, and he’s looking increasingly likely to stay at the club beyond the summer transfer window. I think he will stay at Bayern Munich, and the club has no problem with him staying put. They know he has a contract and that he’s a very good player. The problem was never the Canada international’s quality – it’s his injury proneness. Bayern want Nathaniel Brown not to replace Davies but because they think he’s a big Bundesliga talent for the future. It was the case that they had to buy the German now or risk a Premier League club coming in for the fullback. Davies can play two or more positions, and Brown is even more positionally versatile. There’s not a clear need to sell Davies, but if a really good offer came in, Bayern would consider it.
Roma to make move for Kolo Muani? (CaughtOffside’s Ekrem Konur via ESPN)
Another summer, another new set of rumors for former Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani:
AS Roma are interested in a deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani from PSG. Juventus and Galatasaray are also interested in the versatile forward, following his loan move at Tottenham.
