The Dallas Cowboys will stay home on Sunday and play their division rival, the Washington Commanders. The Cowboys need a win in the worst way after getting trampled by the New York Giants last week.
This is an NFC East game and has huge importance to both teams. The Commanders are also 0-1 after losing a divisional game against the Philadelphia Eagles last week. FanDuel has the Cowboys as the favorites (-4.5) and has set an over/under of 50.5 points.
Here are a few bold predictions for the game.
1. Dak Prescott throws 3 TDs, and has a passer rating over 120

Prescott is usually very good in games after a Cowboys loss, especially a loss to open a season. This week, he is at home where he excels, and he is playing a Washington defense that is susceptible to big, explosive plays. The secondary is a weak spot on their defense, so the Cowboys need to let Prescott cook.
George Pickens, CeeDee Lamb and Ryan Flournoy will be the yardage guys, and should keep the offense moving the sticks. Prescott will do the rest and have a huge day.
2. Jake Ferguson has 2 TD catches
Jake Ferguson was among the many Cowboys starters who disappointed in the first game versus the Giants. Above, we mentioned the WR corps as the big beneficiaries of a strong Prescott passing game. But tight end Jake Ferguson will be the guy who puts the points on the board.
Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert busted up the Washington defense for two touchdowns last week. This week, Ferguson will match him against the Washington defense.
3. Quinnen Williams gets a sack, and 3 TFL
All week, defensive tackle Quinnen Williams has talked about how the defense didn’t play up to its standards, and that he personally needs to play better. Williams didn’t have a bad game last week, but he wants to be a disruptor every week.
This week, he will notch a sack. But not only that, he will continually collapse the line in the middle and rack up three TFLs, creating havoc in the Washington backfield.
