Stability has been key for the New England Patriots offensive line this season, but it suffered multiple hits in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The latest of which came in the form of left tackle
Will Campbell.
After already losing left guard Jared Wilson
in the first quarter with an ankle injury, Campbell went down in the third quarter. He was announced as questionable to return with a knee injury. The first-round draft pick remained on the ground following a TreVeyon Henderson run, receiving medical assistance on the field. While he did slowly walk off under his own power, Campbell was carted to the locker room after a brief stint in the blue medical tent.
The fourth overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, Campbell has been the Patriots’ starting left tackle since he entered the building. As such, the LSU product rarely left the field — playing 695 offensive snaps (98.3%) — and provided some quality play to protect Drake Maye’s blind side.
With him out, veteran Vederian Lowe took over at left tackle. The left guard spot, previously manned by the aforementioned Jared Wilson, was taken over by Ben Brown.
