According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Fenerbahçe would like to make a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka:
Fenerbahçe
are interested in a January move for Leon Goretzka. The Turkish club’s head coach Domenico Tedesco, who knows Goretzka well from their time together at Schalke and appreciates his qualities, would like to bring him in. The midfielder, however, is unlikely to leave Bayern in January due to the thin squad. There will still be contract talks between Goretzka and Bayern, but the chances of a new contract are slimmer than with Serge Gnabry at the moment.
It is unclear what will happen with Goretzka, but it does feel unlikely that Bayern Munich would consider selling Goretzka in January given that there are just four viable central midfielders on the roster. While a future with Bayern Munich seems in doubt for Goretzka, it does not feel like the Bavarians would cash in during the winter transfer window for what could the club’s last chance to make any money off of a sale of the player.
Welcome to Bavarian Podcast Works — Edges and Underdogs, a BuLi Action Show!
This is not your run-of-the-mill gambling show as we are putting more focus on the ins-and-outs of the actual match day’s showdowns, rather than an odds-driven format (but yes, you will get the odds as well). This podcast is for people who watch the Bundesliga intently and who want to dive into some of the big games for each match day. Through that, we will also provide some information that could help those seeking to make a wager or two.
Each week, we will highlight three matches to talk through and break down who has the edge, who might be hurting, who is susceptible to being upset, who’s getting hot, and more! This is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Edges and Underdogs, a BuLi Action Show:
- Catching up on how we did last week.
