Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson has announced his retirement from the NFL. The Penn State product finishes his career with 564 catches and 43 touchdowns.
Robinson was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. In just his second season, he proved to be one of the game’s top receivers, catching 80 passes for 1,400 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns. He then caught 73 passes in 2016, as Jacksonville went on a Cinderella run to the AFC
Championship Game.
After suffering a season-ending injury in the first game of the 2017 season, Robinson signed with the Chicago Bears, where he would spend the next four years of his career, putting up a pair of 1,000-yard seasons. He had a one-year stint with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022 before signing with the Steelers in 2023, catching 34 passes for 280 yards. He last played in a regular season game in 2024 with the Detroit Lions.
