In case you have been out of the loop, the Seattle Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl!
The Seahawks will be facing the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 60, a rematch that is 11 years in the making. Seattle last faced New England in Super Bowl 49, going into the game as the defending champions from the year prior.
Much like in that game, the Seahawks will be wearing navy blue on navy blue, as announced by the team’s social media department on Thursday. The Super Bowl patch will be worn on the gray
stripe beneath the right shoulder, with a ‘USA 250’ patch directly below it. Seattle’s 50th anniversary patch will remain underneath the left shoulder stripe, where it has been for the entirety of the 2025 season.
Unfortunately for fans of the throwback jerseys, the Seahawks have already exceeded the limit of uses for those outfits this year, and the NFL prohibits alternate uniforms for the Super Bowl. Each team may wear alternate uniforms up to four times during the regular season, which was maxed out following three uses of the throwbacks and one appearance of the Rivalries getup in Week 17.
This will be the second appearance of Seattle’s navy home jerseys in the Super Bowl, which have been in use since the 2012 season. The Seahawks have previously worn their home uniforms in two prior Super Bowls, donning the white road jerseys for Super Bowl 48.
I don’t know about you, but I think the Dark Side will look quite stylish during the Big Game this year.
