As the Chicago Bears prepare for their third regular season game of the year against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, the first official team injury reports for week three have been released.
Obviously, there have been some major changes to the report since last week. Most notably in the quarterback room following injuries to both Caleb Williams and Tyson Bagent in the loss against the Minnesota Vikings last week.
Thursday’s injury report is an estimation, as the Bears did not actually
practice.
Listed as DNP (did not practice) were: QB Tyson Bagent (concussion), DL Grady Jarrett (rest), RB Kyle Monangai (knee), K Cairo Santos (right hip), DB Tyrique Stevenson (hamstring), and QB Caleb Williams (hamstring).
Listed as practicing in a limited capacity were LB Noah Sewell (achilles) and DL Shemar Turner (knee). Both Sewell and Turner are noted to be on their 21 day return window from Injured Reserve/PUP.
Last week, Monangai was dealing with a hamstring issue. He is now suffering from a knee injury. Both Santos and Stevenson were new injuries listed this week.
As of press time, the Eagles have not yet listed their initial injury report for week three.
The Bears take on the Eagles this Monday night at Soldier Field in Chicago. The game takes place at 7:15 p.m. (Chicago time) and will be broadcast on ESPN/ABC as part of Monday Night Football.
