Wes Moore and his staff got some good news over the weekend when four-star forward Kamora Pruitt verbally committed to NC State. Pruitt, a native of Dallas, Texas, is listed at 6’2 and rated the No. 27 prospect in the 247Sports Composite class of 2026 rankings. She picked the Wolfpack over Oklahoma, Baylor, Arizona, and SMU. Snagged her right out of SMU’s back yard.
Pruitt surprised the team and coaches by making an appearance in person to announce her decision.
Pruitt: “As you know, it’s time for me to make my decision…”
Wes Moore: “Yeah. I hope you’re making a smart one. Don’t screw up your life!”
You can always count on Wes for a laugh.
Here are some of her highlights:
Pruitt is the second commit for NC State in the 2026 cycle, joining forward Annsley Trivette, who is also a top-100 player nationally. The Pack is well on its way to another strong high school recruiting class.
