Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Let’s start the night off by taking a look back over the three biggest stories of Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026.
- Renato Moicano, who headlines this weekend, wants to test free agency: I wish every fighter did this. Sadly, the UFC’s contract structures make it very hard to get the fights you need to fight out your deal.
- There are some very disturbing details coming out about Edgar Berlanga’s arrest: Sadly, combat sports and domestic violence intersect far too often to keep calling it a co-incidence.
- Sean Strickland vs. Nassourdine Imavov seems to be gaining momentum: It’s the logical fight to make. Imavov seems very motivated to get that belt. Is Strickland keen to keep it?
