It was a night to remember for Chris Sale and the Atlanta Braves, who completed the sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers after Thursday’s 1-0 win. Sale was dominant, throwing his first shutout since 2019. He went the distance, throwing a complete game and allowing just five hits. He struck out 11.
Drake Baldwin accounted for the Braves’ lone run. He launched a homer on the first pitch of the game, and the Atlanta lineup was unable to plate
a run after that.
