This Saturday at 1PM the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox will be facing off in Game 1 of the ALDS. It will be the first ever postseason match up between the two clubs. The game is sold out, but for those who have tickets, the team is asking for another post season “red out”. So be sure to don your favorite red jersey, perhaps the free Austin Hedges jersey to bring the ultimate vibes to game 1.
As of the time of writing, the starter has not been announced for Cleveland and likely will be announced later today or tomorrow.
To prepare for the ALDS with the week off, the Guards had a light workout day yesterday and will workout and take BP today and tomorrow. Stephen Vogt and some of the players also spoke with the press today.
After Hunter Goodman had a two home run game to secure the loss for the White Sox, helping the Guardians win the division, a Guardians fan on Twitter led the charge in donating to Hunter Goodman’s preferred charity. This one tweet quickly snowballed into over $22,000 donated from Cleveland fans to a wonderful organization in Denver that provides clothing to children.
