The biggest transfer in German football this summer does not involve a player or even a Bundesliga team — it will be the DFB’s acquisition of Jürgen Klopp to lead the next generation of the German national team.
The wait for the formal announcement appears to be over per Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg:

that, he will sign his contract until 2030.

🇩🇪 Jürgen Klopp will officially be presented as new Germany head coach tomorrow at 11:00 CEST during a press conference alongside Bernd Neuendorf and Rudi Völler.
As far as compensation goes, it will not be conventional. The DFB will make a charitable donation to a Red Bull non-profit foundation per Bild (via @iMiaSanMia):
The DFB will not pay a classic compensation fee to Red Bull for Jürgen Klopp. Instead as a thank you, the DFB will donate €1m to “Wings for Life”, a non-profit foundation by Red Bull. All donations go directly to medical spinal cord research.
Klopp’s decision to take the job will provide the opportunity for a reboot — something desperately needed at the DFB.
