Men’s basketball is heading to Charlotte for the ACC tipoff, with Anthony Robinson II and Sebastian Rancik joining Luke Loucks for their media day.
Loucks’ squad is looking to build off their strong finish in 2025, where they won ten of their last 13 games.
Women’s basketball will also bring three Seminoles to Charlotte for the ACC Tipoff. Solé Williams and Avery Treadwell will join head coach Brooke Wyckoff for questions. The event is scheduled for Oct. 5.
Wyckoff is eyeing a return to the NCAA Tournament after a disappointing 10-21 season in 2025.
The Florida State women’s basketball team will be represented by seniors Avery Treadwell, Solé Williams, and head coach Brooke Wyckoff at the 2026 ACC Tipoff. The Seminoles will be featured at the three-day event on Oct. 5 in the afternoon session at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown.
Williams returns as the leading scorer from 2025-26, where she averaged 15.1 points per game, which ranked 11th in the ACC. Williams appeared in 29 games, starting 25 and set new career highs in points (28), field goals made (11) rebounds (6), steals (5), three-pointers made (5) and free throws made (9).
A team captain, Treadwell enters her fourth season as a Seminole. As a junior, Treadwell brought energy from the bench to the floor, shooting 58.2 percent for the season. Treadwell set new career highs in rebounds (12), steals (2), blocks (3), field goals made (5) and free throws made (4). She secured her first double-double behind 12 points and 12 rebounds against NC State.
Wyckoff enters her fifth straight season and sixth overall at the helm, with 90 wins. This season, Wyckoff will lead a roster of 16 players, including the No. 12 recruiting class according to ESPNW, behind Missy Odom, Morgan Stewart, Asia Lee, Kennedy Loux and Chamiah Francis. FSU also signed six transfers including Timaya Lewis-Eutsey (Marshall), Jasmine Nivar (Campbell), Savannah Henderson (Georgia), Aga Makuart (Vanderbilt), Joy Egbuna (Alabama) and Ice Brady (UConn). In addition to Williams and Treadwell, FSU also returns Tatum Greene, Mari Gerton and Emma Risch from 2025-26.
The event will be televised on the ACC Network.
Florida State will host Tampa on Oct. 18 and Palm Beach Atlantic on Oct. 22 in a pair of exhibition games before opening the 2026-27 against Merrimack at 6 p.m. on Nov. 2.

Men’s Tennis is heading to Orlando to take on UCF in the Bedford Cup this weekend.
Five Seminoles are playing fall ball in the MLB; two are playing at least until today in the AL Wild Card, while Tampa’s Taylor Walls and Kevin Cash along with Milwaukee’s Shane Drohan have earned a first-round bye. The Rays will face the winner of the Yankees/Red Sox series, while the Brewers will face the winner of the Cubs/Padres series.
