Since the BlueCo takeover Chelsea have taken many bets. Many of which didn’t come into fruition, even though a few looked like they were right around the corner and only a few steps away from turning it in definitive.
20-year-old striker Marc Guiu felt like one of those few, especially when helping take down our UEFA Conference League opponents during Chelsea’s winning 2024-25 campaign in the competition. Now he’s taken his talents to Germany with RB Leipzig, where chances for him to shine should
be more than far and few in between.
The young Spanish striker joined Chelsea from Barcelona for €6m two years ago. He moves today to the Bundesliga outfit on a reported €16m fee, which is again the mark of good business made by the club’s current head honchos (even though the club wanted north of £25m for him a little over a month ago).
Best of luck, Marc!
