Few club football fans look forward to an international break. Fans are deprived of seeing their favorite players play for their club, instead seeing them represent their countries in games and crossing their fingers that none of them sustain an injury. For those fans, the end of the international break is a real blessing.
It could be more than that for Bayern Munich fans, though. The Bavarians have been in talks with star striker Harry Kane’s camp for just about a month, but there have been signs
that an agreement between the two parties is near. The England captain himself hinted at this mere days ago. And then again a couple of days later. Now, Sport Bild reports (as captured by @iMiaSanMia) that contract talks should be wrapping up very soon:
Harry Kane’s contract extension is expected to be finalized right after the international break. The talks are in the final stages.
The 33-year-old is one of Bayern’s very best players and is set to become a crucial figure for the next few years to come. Extending his contract in such simple, short negotiations is a wonderful sign for the club and its current stability.
