Penn State finally tasted victory on Saturday after a six-game skid, wearing down Michigan State for a 28-10 triumph. The oddsmakers like the Nittany Lions chances of making it two in a row. Penn State has
opened as a 10.5-point favorite over Nebraska when the teams meet at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, according to FanDuel.
The Nittany Lions leaned on Kaytron Allen and the run game on a windy day in East Lansing to pull away from the Spartans on Saturday. Allen finished the day with 188 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, while also adding 10 yards on two catches. The defense mostly held Michigan State in check after allowing a 57-yard touchdown run on the Spartans first offensive snap. They held them to just a field goal the rest of the way, and did not allow any second half points.
Nebraska enters the game at 7-3, and like Michigan State, will be coming off a bye week when they face the Nittany Lions. The ‘Huskers beat UCLA 28-21 in their most recent game, as backup quarterback TJ Lateef tossed for 205 yards and three touchdowns. Starter Dylan Raiola was lost for the season the previous week in a loss to USC.
Penn State and Nebraska will kick off at 7 p.m., for a rare late-season prime time match-up in Beaver Stadium. The game will be aired on NBC.
