It seems like Jerry Jones is still on the prowl for a big time player to make his team better.
“I said it out of context, but I’m
glad I said it. We were just feeling so good about our win that we were feeling our oats. We say this just right, don’t tamper. My point is, it’s good. We have the makings of a team here that I’m that optimistic about. I’d work to improve it in a minute financially.”

The Cowboys might need to bring extra cleats when traveling to Rio given the current field conditions.
The Cowboys will get their first look on Saturday. Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said they’ll be prepared with different cleat options in case they’re needed. Schottenheimer also indicated that different players could have different and specific cleat preferences, however.
“But some of these guys are funny about the way their cleats feel and the way they want them to feel,” Schottenheimer said. “And so personal preference, we’re not forcing anybody to wear anything, but we’ll have plenty of shoes down there in case we need to adjust.”

The lack of production from George Pickens through two weeks is definitely a surprise..
Pickens had a lackluster showing in Week 1 with just three catches for 28 yards, and he had a pair of crucial drops, including on a pass that could’ve resulted in a long touchdown.
Pickens had a slightly better showing in Week 2, but he gained just 40 yards on six catches while CeeDee Lamb and the rest of the Cowboys’ passing attack exploded.
