What is the story about?

Anchors away, knuckles out.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is officially taking its violence to the high seas with its first-ever “BKFSea Cruise,” sailing from Miami, Fla., to the Bahamas from Jan. 22-25, 2027.

And now, the “Bruise Cruise” has its main event.

Undefeated BKFC Featherweight champion Kai Stewart (10-0) will attempt to defend his title for the sixth time when he runs it back with No. 2-ranked contender Bryan Duran (9-1-1) in the five-round main event.

The nine-fight card will

take place Saturday night aboard the Norwegian Jewel.

Serving as the co-main event will be a Welterweight showdown between George Thorpe (2-1) and Josh Kuhne (2-0). In addition, No. 4-ranked Featherweight Nathan Rivera (5-1) will collide with Brandon Meneses (1-1-1).

Elsewhere, Julio Perez (4-2) battles Gabriel Mota (2-3) in the promotion’s newly created Ironweight division, while undefeated Featherweights Joey Gambino (2-0) and Matt Denning (1-0) put their perfect BKFC records on the line.

Steve Townsel (6-6) returns against Brady Meister (3-3), while Gustavo Balart (1-0) takes on veteran Justyn Martinez in a Strawweight clash. “Famez” (4-6) and Cole Ferrell (2-1) will also compete against opponents still to be announced.

The violence won’t be limited to the ring.

BKFC stars Lorenzo Hunt, Christine Ferea, Ben Rothwell, Jessica Borga, Austin Trout, Luis Palomino, Taylor Starling and several others are expected to be aboard for autograph sessions, workouts, press conferences, weigh-ins and additional fan experiences.

Rainbet will also host a $50,000 poker tournament on Sunday, along with afterparties and merchandise giveaways throughout the three-night voyage.

Cabins start at $1,099 per person based on double occupancy, with deposits beginning at $200. For those unwilling—or unable—to spend three nights trapped at sea with a collection of bare-knuckle fighters, the complete card will stream internationally through BKFC+ for $7.99 per month.
