TNA is fresh off Turning Point, and they quickly built the card for Final Resolution. Five title bouts, a street fight, and more were announced for the card.
The lineup for Final Resolution currently includes:
- TNA World Championship: Frankie Kazarian (c) vs. Johnny Dango Curtis
- Knockouts Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. TBD (Dani Luna or Xia Brookside)
- TNA World Tag Team Championship: Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Tyson DuPont & Tyriek Igwe
- TNA International Championship: Steve Maclin (c) vs. Stacks
- X-Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. AJ Francis
- Mike Santana vs. Charlie Dempsey
- Matt Cardona vs. Mance Warner in a street fight
Trash talk got tense in the world title scene, then Dango defeated Eric Young to earn a shot at Frankie Kazarian.
The Knockouts Championship bout is a work in progress. Kelani Jordan is penciled in right now as the current champion, but that could soon change. Kelani has to defend the title in a three-way against Jordynne Grace and Lei Ying Lee at NXT Gold Rush, which airs next Tuesday. The winner advances to Final Resolution.
To determine the challenger, TNA is holding a mini tournament. Two four-way bouts took place on Impact. Dani Luna prevailed over Rosemary, Myla Grace, and Indi Hartwell. Rosemary pulled out a steel chain with bad intentions toward Myla. She didn’t back down and rammed the Demon Assassin into the ring post. Rosemary dropped the chain on the mat. As the referee peaked at the chaos outside, Luna used the chain to clobber Hartwell for the win.
In the second four-way, Xia Brookside came out on top over Victoria Crawford, Jody Threat, and Killer Kelly. Threat tackled Crawford outside. Brookside seized the moment for the Brooksy Bomb to pin Kelly.
Luna and Brookside will duke it out in two weeks time on Impact to determine the official challenger.
The war between TNA and NXT rages on. Instead of shutting NXT out of the Impact Zone, which clearly wasn’t working, Santino Marella is welcoming them with open arms for a series of matches. That’s where the Hardys and Steve Maclin will defend their titles and Santana will have his chance for revenge.
AJ Francis talked a big game, so Leon Slater is testing Top Dolla to put his money where his mouth is.
Mance Warner beat Matt Cardona thanks to shenanigans from Steph De lander. Cardona wants round two in a street fight. He is always ready, and he is also the Death Match King.
Final Resolution takes place on December 5 from El Paso, TX.
