Rey de Reyes is one week away, so Saturday night’s episode of AAA TV (Mar. 7, 2026) puts the final touches on that event. The war rages on between El Grande Americano and El Grande Americano, the final contestant will be determined for the Rey de Reyes tournament final, and Hijo del Vikingo will be in action.
Last week, El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) set a trap to expose El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) as a fraud. Pimpinela Escarlata pressured the Original Grande Americano to speak Spanish,
so OGA reacted with violence. Before Pimpi was sent to the hospital, the exotico asked EGA to fill in for the Rey de Reyes qualifier and win it for Mexico. That he did, with a large dose of chaos. OGA tried to interfere with a chair, but La Parka was there to snatch it away. That side scrambles leads to La Parka versus OGA on the program tonight. La Parka has not lost a singles match yet in the WWE era of AAA.
La Parka, Original Grande Americano, and El Grande Americano have all qualified for the Rey de Reyes four-way tournament final. The fourth qualifier match will be between Mr. Iguana, Santos Escobar, Psycho Clown, and Abismo Negro. Much like last week, this contest has high potential for calamity. Santos screwed El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. out of winning, so it makes sense to see the favor returned. A mystery attacker has been picking off clowns in the Psycho Circus, and that drama could grab Psycho’s attention away from the match. Abismo Negro better watch his back after brawling with El Fiscal.
Hijo del Vikingo is set to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship at Rey de Reyes. That match will be No DQ with a pair of stipulations. If Dom wins, then Vikingo can’t challenge him again. If Vikingo wins, then Dom’s AAA career is over. In preparation, Vikingo will wrestle in a tune-up against Dinamico.
For most of the world, WWE will stream the show in English on their YouTube channel (the stream embedded at the top of this post). The Spanish version is available through WWE Español and AAA.
