Indiana men’s basketball is no longer set to host Davion Adkins, a 4-star power forward in the class of 2026, according to Joe Tipton of Rivals/On3:
Adkins, the 33rd highest-rated overall prospect and fourth highest-rated power forward in Rivals’ Industry Ranking,
is now only set to visit Houston, Kansas as Rutgers. He’d previously included Indiana, Auburn and UCLA among his six finalists before trimming his list of visits.
While On3/Rivals lists Adkins at power forward, 247Sports lists him as a center. Indiana, facing a strong need at that position, has been putting in work on multiple prospects in the class of 2026. The Hoosiers addressed the position through the transfer portal this past offseason, adding Reed Bailey from Davidson, Sam Alexis from Florida and Josh Harris from North Florida. Additionally, the program signed Andrej Acimovic from Bosnia in late July.
There are plenty of options out there and it’s still early in the recruiting calendar. Adkins could also end up rescheduling his visit. It’s simply too early to tell.
