Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and two-time “Contender Series” contestant Joe Pyfer are separated by nine spots in the official middleweight rankings, but when it comes to their UFC Seattle
betting line, it’s the 29 year-old “Bodybagz” who’s topping the chart.
Don’t worry, “it’s not about belts anymore.”
Adesanya (24-5) and Pyfer (15-3) opened at -110 apiece, according to BetOnline.ag, a reflection of Adesanya’s recent struggles. “The Last Stylebender,” who turns 37 in July, has lost three straight and four of his last five — getting finished in three of those four losses.
Not long after their betting line opened, Pyfer jumped to a -130 favorite against +110 for Adesanya. We still have more than two months to go before their five-round clash, booked for Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Wash., on Sat., March 28, 2026, so expect movement (in both directions) as we get closer to fight night.
Pyfer is the winner of three straight and famously broke Francis Ngannou’s punch machine record.
UFC Seattle will also feature the flyweight rematch between former 125-pound champion Alexa Grasso and No. 5-ranked Maycee Barber. Elsewhere on the card, Marcin Tybura collide at heavyweight, not long after Casey O’Neill and Gabriella Fernandes hook ‘em up at 125 pounds.
