It’s a bit ironic that the day after the transfer window has shut, we’re not exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to picking the starting lineup, but at least we didn’t panic and get into some more Nicolas Jackson-esque drama like in the summer.
That does leave us with a lineup that practically picks itself, with ten of the eleven starters at the 90 per cent mark (or well above). The only exception to that is Andrey Santos (57%), who beat out the likes of Alejandro Garnacho (21%), Liam Delap (20%),
Malu Gusto (18%), and Acheampong (17%) for the final spot. Andrey hasn’t been too consistent (and neither have been his opportunities), but he’s made a big difference on key occasions, so hopefully he can do the same today.
4-2-3-1 (71%)
Sanchez (95%) | Cucurella (98%), Chalobah (96%), Fofana (88%), James (96%) | Santos (57%), Caicedo (98%) | Enzo (97%), Palmer (96%), Neto (91%) | Joao Pedro (97%)
