TCU soccer will kick off the 2026 season with a road match against Wisconsin on Aug. 13. The Horned Frogs, who went 18-3-3 and made the semifinal round of the NCAA Tournament last season, have won two consecutive Big 12 regular-season championships and will shoot for a third championship in a row this coming season.
Beginning with the goalkeepers, TCU welcomes back Olivia Geller and Claireese Foley. Geller, a junior, has made 24 starts over the last two seasons. Geller made 18 this past season, finishing
with 65 saves and a 13-2-3 record in net. In just over 2,200 minutes played, Geller has nine career shutouts and owns both a 0.88 career goals against average and a 0.771 career save percentage. Foley, a former Miami transfer, did not see game action last season, but played in 13 matches with 11 starts two years ago. Eliza Collings, a new freshman, rounds out the roster.
Defensively, the Horned Frogs are rebuilding after losing five seniors from last year’s roster. Among those seniors were Grace Coppinger, Zoe Calyer, Georgia Leb, Katana Norman and Quinn Cornog. TCU recruited the transfer portal hard over the offseason, signing graduate student Amelie Darey (Butler), senior Zoe Cuneio (Purdue) and sophomore Gianna Owens (California). The Horned Frogs also welcome freshmen Camden Cosish and Betsi Salihi to the program. Returning are Evie Baker (junior), Cameron Patton (junior) and Leah Negeri (sophomore).
Patton is a leader to watch on defense, an All-Big 12 Freshman Team selection in 2024 and an All-Big 12 First Team selection in 2025, Patton started 24 matches and logged over 2,000 minutes on the pitch as a sophomore. She has five goals and 13 assists over two seasons and she converted three game-winners for TCU last season. Baker, also in her third year with TCU, started 23 matches as a freshman and made 17 appearances in 2025.
Darey arrives with a load of experience, having played in 58 matches with 48 starts during her career at Butler. She scored five goals and added five assists while earning All-Big East Second Team honors in 2024. Cuneio made 53 career starts at Purdue, posting two goals and three assists. She started every game she played as a member of the Boilermakers, logging over 4,600 minutes. Negeri and Owens did not see action last season.
In the midfield, TCU graduated Sydney Becerra and lost multiple players including Ally Brown (Arizona), Filippa Hoegild, Breahn Fisher (Florida), Cate Sarinopoulos (UCLA) and Marli Galdamez (UCLA) to transfers or other departures. Entering the fold are incoming freshmen Giovanna Costanzo, Mackenzie Hilderman, Camille Banks, Addison DeJoseph. Returning are Morgan Brown (junior), Kaela Martinez (junior), Kamdyn Fuller (sophomore) and Emma Yolinsky (redshirt sophomore). Peyton Nourse, a redshirt junior, transfers in from Florida State.
Yolinsky shined in her first season at TCU. The former Texas A&M transfer was an All-Big 12 Second Team choice after recording nine goals and five assists over 23 matches and 1,414 minutes played. Brown is one of the top midfielders in the Big 12, receiving First Team accolades twice and earning All-American consideration as a sophomore. She’s made 45 appearances, 39 starts and logged over 3,400 minutes in her TCU career.
Martinez has 30 appearances and over 800 minutes logged in her career, 700 of which came as a sophomore this past fall. Fuller dominated as a 17-year-old true freshman, winning the Big 12 Freshman of the Year award and receiving All-Big 12 First Team recognition. Fuller started 23 matches and scored four goals with five assists while compiling over 1,700 minutes on the pitch. She was called up to the U18 U.S. Women’s National Team for a training camp that will be held next month in West Palm Beach, Florida.
At forward, the Horned Frogs will have two top goal scorers to replace in Seven Castain and AJ Hennessey. Bella Diorio returns for her senior year after missing her entire 2025 campaign to a preseason injury. Also returning are Grace Vest (sophomore) and Hannah Harms (sophomore). Eres Freifeld (North Carolina) arrives through the transfer portal, while Makenzie Majors, Emery Jean, Alexa DeJoseph and Madison Taylor are new freshmen. Diorio earned All-Big 12 First Team and All-American awards in 2024, when she had 11 goals and four assists.
Stepping up in Diorio’s absence, Vest totaled two goals and four assists with over 800 minutes of time in 24 appearances as a true freshman in 2025. Harms made 12 appearances during her freshman season. Freifeld is a notable transfer to watch, as she played in 21 games with six starts and scored three goals for the Tar Heels last season. Addison and Alexa DeJoseph are twin sisters who played high school soccer together in Atlanta.
