This week, we posted an SB Nation Reacts survey on how far you think the France men’s national basketball team will go in EuroBasket 2025 and whether you thought the Washington Mystics made the right call to trade Brittney Sykes and Aaliyah Edwards.
First our question on the French men’s basketball team. A combined 76 percent of you believe that Les Bleus will win a medal. Forty-five percent of you believe that the French will the bronze
or silver medals. And another 31 percent of you think France will win the Gold Medal.
With our second question, the results were relatively divided. However, 60 percent of you believe that the Mystics’ front office of Jamila Wideman and Michael Winger made the right decision to trade Sykes and Edwards. Losing Sykes in particular has effectively led to the Mystics going on longer losing streaks right when they were in the playoff race before the trades. However, most of you believe that receiving draft pick compensation for 2026 is still the right move.
