The Braves are off to another start in Miami, and the lineups are set.
No surprise for the top three in the batting order as Jurickson Profar looks to kick things off in Miami. Michael Harris II is taking the fourth slot with Marcell Ozuna directly behind him. Drake Baldwin is back in for catcher in the sixth slot, with Ozzie Albies, Nacho Alverez Jr., and Nick Allen to follow.
And of course, Spencer Strider, who we’ve mentioned in our preview,
will be taking the mound tonight in an attempt to regain his command and lead this team to an opening victory.
The Marlins have also released their lineup.
Fresh off a win against the power-hitting Blue Jays, the Marlins are looking for redemption after dropping their last series to the Braves.
As they open this homestand, they’ll hope for a different outcome in their 11th matchup of the season, with Atlanta holding a 6–4 edge heading into the three-game set.
The top five in the lineup will remain the same as the last, with Liam Hicks taking over first base as opposed to catcher. Eric Wagaman will be the DH behind him in the sixth hole, Joey Weimer will play right field with Troy Johnston as his opposite on left, and Maximo Acosta will be their third baseman.
Who’s ready to go fishing?
Let’s hope the Braves are tonight to kick off their series opener.
First pitch is set for 6:40 p.m. EDT
