The Seattle Seahawks are set to face the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football, but first it’s time for some Halloween scares from the team in the form of the final injury report for the week.
With the release of the final injury report, the Hawks have announced that several notable names will not suit up for the game, with a pair of key veterans carrying questionable designations for Sunday.
So, not playing will be Julian Love, Jake Bobo, Eric Saubert and Dareke Young, who have all been ruled out. Also carrying that designation is Christian Haynes, however, this should come as no surprise since Haynes is not currently a member of the active roster, but started practicing this week after the team opened his three-week practice window ahead of a potential return from injured reserve.
Perhaps even more noteworthy than those who will not play are those whose availability is suddenly up in the air, specifically Cooper Kupp and Jarran Reed. Both Reed and Kupp are listed as questionable, so whether or not they play may not be known until the team announces its inactive list on Sunday evening.
Given the uncertainty around Kupp’s availability, it should come as a surprise to exactly no one if the Seahawks turn to the practice squad Saturday afternoon for extra depth at the receiver position.
