- Editorial: What can you say? It’s do or die. Alabama will have revenge on their mind. The Tide needs to cut down on mistakes in order to pull this one off.
- Oklahoma Injuries: Star defensive end R Mason Thomas has been cleared to play. Starting center Jake Maikkula is listed as questionable. RB Jovantae Barnes has been out since September, but is now probable. QB John Mateer was seen practicing without wrap on thumb. It must’ve been nice to not play UGA in the SECCG.
- Alabama Injuries: OC Ryan Grubb called Parker Brailsford “a total warrior” over the “last couple weeks” meaning he has played hurt. The Tide center is expected to start. In regards to TE Josh Cuevas, Grubb stated “he’s been looking great, and we’re excited to have him back out there.” Kalen DeBoer said of tight ends Josh Cuevas and Danny Lewis, “both of them will be available.” Both are listed as questionable. RB Jam Miller is “full go”. EDGE LT Overton is out with a mysterious illness.
- Series: Alabama is a miserable 2-5-1 all-time against the Sooners. Bama needs to fix that.
- Weather: There is no moisture in the area but the high is expected to be around 53° by kickoff. Winds could be a factor with gusts around 18 mhp.
- TV Announcers: Chris Fowler on play-by-play, Kirk Herbstreit as analyst with Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge as sideline reporters.
- Radio: Chris Stewart, Tyler Watts, Corey Reamer on Alabama Radio.
