The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are back home this week for their annual Wookie Life Debt game against the Navy Midshipmen. Even in a blowout win, these games are never really fun — and it’s on the way other
end of the spectrum of fun when things get dicey.
The Irish are in the stretch run of the season with the rest of college football, and while most are confident Notre Dame makes the playoff with a 10-2 record, the perception of how good the Irish really are (due to big point wins over “lesser” opponents) will go a long way with the final set of rankings.
Notre Dame has typically played well in November for the past 6 years having lost only twice since 2018 during the month. Maybe some of that has to do with the weather?
Perhaps.
Speaking of the weather…
It’s not looking great for Notre Dame VS Navy on Saturday.
It definitely won’t be like the downpours during gameday for USC, but it’s looking more and more like a wet gloomy day in South Bend.
The game, doesn’t look as bad — but it’s still early.
