UConn women’s basketball has a chance to add another trophy to its massive collection and punch its ticket to the NCAA Tournament tonight. The Huskies will take on Villanova in the Big East Tournament championship game at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET on Peacock.
UConn comes in with a 33-0 record and beat the Wildcats in both meetings earlier this season. The Huskies have won 69 straight league games dating back to the 2022-23 campaign.
So far this weekend, UConn beat 8-seed Georgetown
in the quarterfinals before running over 5-seed Creighton in the semifinals. Meanwhile, Villanova got here by beating 7-seed Providence and 3-seed Seton Hall.
