Forbidden Door is the annual AEW pay-per-view that invites talent from outside promotions, such as NJPW, CMLL, and Stardom. That event goes live on June 28, however, the proverbial Forbidden Door opens early with crossover shows in ROH and CMLL on Thursday and Friday night.
On Thursday, June 18, ROH Global Wars Cincinnati is headlined by Athena defending the ROH Women’s World Championship against Syuri from Stardom. Syuri holds a win over Athena from earlier this year in February at a NJPW event.
The rematch is on in ROH turf.
The Global Wars lineup includes:
- ROH Women’s World Championship: Athena (c) vs. Syuri
- ROH World Television Championship: AR Fox (c) vs. Action Andretti vs. Lio Rush
- ROH World Tag Team Championship: Sammy Guevara & Beast Mortos (c) vs. Los Villanos

Global Wars airs at 8 pm ET through the Honor Club and myAEW streaming services. This show was taped last week, and the tag title bout is a replay from CMLL in Arena Mexico.
On Friday, June 19, CMLL goes live from Mexico City with Fantasticamania Mexico. Fantasticamania has long been an annual staple in NJPW for CMLL talent to tour Japan, and that idea boomeranged back for special shows in Mexico. Fantasticamania Mexico 2026 is headlined by the farewell to Tiger Mask III. The legend will retire later this year in Japan, and this tour is his final run in Mexico.

Fantasticamania Mexico airs at 10:30 pm ET through subscription to the CMLL YouTube channel on the Leyenda level. The show will also stream through myAEW with English commentary.
