The UFC White House card was undoubtedly the most ambitious event the promotion has ever planned and executed but everyone involved has made it clear that it was a one and done and won’t ever happen again.
But that doesn’t mean the UFC can’t plan for another mega-event in the future after previously pulling off a card at the Sphere in Las Vegas, which is another card UFC CEO Dana White has said will never be duplicated. While a future event may not rival the spectacle of the UFC White House card,
White says his head of production had an idea for another show that he’s currently working to make fantasy turn into reality.
“Now my head of production Craig Borsari is so cocky after he absolutely killed that [UFC White House] event, we are talking about something right now that he came up with — this was his idea — and I love it,” White revealed on The Pat McAfee Show. “I have to do some more ground work on it.”
White didn’t tease anything further on the potential event, but it appears he’s already hard at work on making it happen.
The revelation about another huge card that could potentially get compared to the UFC White House event or even Noche UFC at the Sphere had McAfee offering his own guess at the location.
“So cool you guys are going to the moon!” McAfee joked. “You guys are going to go fight people on the moon!”
It’s impossible to know for certain what White has in the works for the next mega-event for the UFC but he promises nothing is going to touch the White House card when it comes to size, scale and magnitude.
“There will never be anything like the White House again,” White said. “That night, we already had high expectations for it and I was blown away. It’s the greatest thing that I’ve ever been a part of. Being there live was amazing.”
