What is the story about?
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they have signed a trio of Day Three draft picks to four-year contracts.
Wide receiver/kick returner Kaden Wetjen, safety Robert Spears-Jennings, and defensive lineman Gabriel Rubio have all signed their rookie deals. The complete financials of the deals were not disclosed.
Wetjen was taken in the fourth round out of Iowa after becoming the first player to win The Jet Award as the country’s top return specialist twice. Spears-Jennings put up 178 tackles during
his time at Oklahoma and Rubio totaled 66 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 39 games at Notre Dame.
