The Pittsburgh Steelers guaranteed themselves first place in the AFC North for at least a week after defeating the Cleveland Browns in Week 8. While in their bye week, they were hoping for the Atlanta Falcons to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in Madrid. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, the Bengals put together a convincing 34-17 win to get to 6-2.
This sets up yet another game for the AFC North lead next Sunday night when the Bengals host the Steelers. Pittsburgh won the first matchup between these two
teams in Week 3 by the score of 30-27. The Steelers are 5-2 in the last seven games against the Bengals.
Pittsburgh still holds the lead over Cincinnati due to winning the first matchup. However, a Bengals win would put them in sole possession of first place.
