After defeating Sassuolo on Sunday, the Giallorossi have a quick turnaround when they host Parma on Wednesday at the Olimpico. The only player ruled out for the match is Angeliño, but a decent amount of
turnover is likely as the Giallorossi enter their fourth match in twelve days.
Gasperini is expected to again use Paulo Dybala as a false 9, keeping Artem Dovbyk and Evan Ferguson on the bench. It’s likely that Matías Soulé will start in one of the attacking midfield roles. Meanwhile, Gasperini seems to be choosing between Lorenzo Pellegrini and Leon Bailey for the other attacking midfielder position.
Bryan Cristante and Manu Koné will form the central midfield pairing. Flanking them will be Wesley and one of either Kostas Tsimikas or Devyne Rensch. Rounding out the XI will be the preferred center-back trio of Zeki Celik, Gianluca Mancini, and Evan Ndicka.
Probable Formation
ROMA (3-5-2): Svilar; Çelik, Mancini, Ndicka; Wesley, Cristante, Koné, Rensch; Soulé, Pellegrini, Dybala.
