Bayern Munich all-purpose man Tom Bischof entered his team’s Bundesliga match vs. SC Freiburg goalless in the league for the Bavarians after coming to the club with a reputation as a strong shooter.
During warm-ups, Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich told his younger teammate to let loose…and that Bischof did.
The former Hoffenheim star scored two goals to help lead Bayern Munich to a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over the home side.
“Before the game, Jo [Kimmich] told me: ‘Can you please shoot?!’
— because I always do it in training – but in the games I can’t find the right situation, or I miss the moment. And today I did it. It felt awesome, and of course it was also great to help the guys get the win,” Bischof said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Let this be a lesson to all of you kids out there…listen to your elders! (And good things might happen!)
